Pop star Britney Spears is pregnant with her second child, according to media reports in the US. The 24-year-old singer had been the subject of much speculation after she was photographed on a Hawaiian holiday earlier this year (06) revealing a tummy bulge. According to American publication Us Weekly, sources close to the singer have confirmed that she is expecting a second child with husband Kevin Federline. The publications claims Spears has known she was expecting since early February (06), but waited to officially tell her family about the baby until Easter (16APR06). Spears and Federline have been married since September 2004 and have a seven-month-old child, Sean Preston. The Toxic singer was spotted at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, over the weekend (ends23APR06) sporting a red bikini and her baby bump.

Hilary and Haylie Duff were celebrating a friend's birthday, when Ashlee Simpson came to the Duffs' table, and told Hilary that her arms looked "chunky."

Haylie tried to stick up for her sister, but she has a nose like a flagpole so it really wasn't helping. Later that night, Haylie tried to talk shit to Jessica Simpson, but it calmed down quickly.

A rep for the Simpsons said, "Ashlee thinks Hilary has perfectly lovely arms." The Duffs' rep, Cece Yorke, said, "They said they had a really fun night."

Everyone knows that Hilary's arms are exactly like tree trunks from the rain forests, and she needs to know these things. It's the same reason I tell anorexic girls that they're fat. Michael revealed Catherine's lack of culinary skills while discussing her role as a chef in new movie Mostly Martha.

According to Entertainment Online, Denise Richards and Richie Sambora who have both been making headlines for their impending divorces, from Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear, respectively, were spotted kissing in Los Angeles.

Denise Richards filed court papers against her estranged husband and on the same day, a judge granted her a restraining order, ordering that Sheen maintain his distance from her and their two young daughters.
Charlie Sheen has told ET he believes the allegations are "baseless" and a "smear campaign." He added that Denise Richards is, "the only one entirely culpable for putting these radical allegations out for public consumption ... my children included." Source

Halle Berry used to pray she would be "cured" of being black. The stunning actress dreamed of finding a pill to turn her skin white when she was a child, according to The Sun newspaper.

The 39-year-old - who was the first black woman to win an Oscar, for her performance in Monster's Ball - is quoted as saying: "Being a black woman I've struggled with that my whole life - feeling that if I changed, my life would be better."

Meanwhile, the X-Men star has also confessed she is insecure about her stunning looks - despite being one of the most beautiful women in the world. The actress claims the fact she is frequently included on lists of the sexiest actresses doesn't changed her mind about her appearance.

Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise Have a Girl!

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise "joyously welcomed the arrival of a baby girl, Suri, today," Cruise's rep said in a statement after PEOPLE first broke the news Tuesday afternoon.

"The child weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20 inches in length. Both mother and daughter are doing well." Suri was born in an L.A.-area hospital.

The name Suri has its origins in Hebrew meaning "princess," or in Persian meaning "red rose," the rep added.

Holmes, Cruise and baby Suri are back home and doing well.

Britney Spears Won't End Up Like Jessica

Britney Spears can probably sleep now, since her husband, Kevin Federline insists that their marriage will never end in divorce like Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. Federline believes the former couple didn't work hard enough to keep their relationship together.

Federline explains, "My situation is different. I ain't gettin' no divorce. F**k that! I don't believe in that s*t. Once you get married, you're in it for the fight."

The former back-up dancer believes Lachey is entitled to multi-million dollar alimony payments from his estranged wife because the couple became even more famous while they were married. He explains, "They did their whole thing together. They really blew up together on that (reality) show. They deserve whatever they get."

The teenager has been headhunted by boss Donatella Versace to star in a new ad campaign aimed at attracting a younger market.

Insiders say Lindsay, 19, has been invited on holiday to discuss a contract.

Recent Versace campaigns have featured older celebrity models such as Madonna, Demi Moore and Halle Berry.

But sources say the fashion house, launched by Donatella's murdered brother Gianni, wants to appeal to younger people.

And they believe Lindsay is perfect to star in their push.

Julia Roberts was almost the million-dollar

Julia Roberts was almost the million-dollar baby on Broadway last week. "Three Days of Rain," which stars Roberts,Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper, grossed a whopping $988,298 for its first full week of preview performances, according to figures released Monday by the League of American Theatres and Producers.

The eight performances, which began March 28, played to 101 percent of capacity (which includes standing room) at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, the league said. The Richard Greenberg play — Roberts' Broadway debut — opens April 19.

Other shows playing to capacity — or better — last week included "Wicked," "Monty Python's Spamalot," "The Pajama Game," "The Odd Couple" and "The Phantom of the Opera." Although "Phantom" was helped by discount offers, the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical has demonstrated surprising box-office muscle, particularly after becoming Broadway's longest running show last January.

Also playing to virtual capacity were such shows as "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," "Jersey Boys," "The Lion King" and "Tarzan," which is now in previews. Disney's new musical opens May 10 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre Source

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes plan to marry this summer

Tom Cruise has told Germany’s leading tabloid that he and Katie Holmes want to tie the knot this summer, after the birth of their baby and the release of his new movie, "Mission: Impossible III."

Cruise was in the country to promote the film on the popular "Wetten Dass ... (I’ll Bet ...)" TV show. He said on the show Saturday that two pilots were at the ready to fly him home should Holmes go into labor.

"If Katie calls, I’m gone," the 43-year-old actor said.

Holmes, 27, is in the final stages of her pregnancy with the couple’s first child.

Cruise confirmed to Bild in Monday’s editions that he and Holmes plan to wed in the coming months. They have been engaged since June.

"First the baby, then the film," he was quoted as saying. "Then, in summer, we want to get married. I won’t let this woman get away."

"Mission: Impossible III" will be released May 5. Source

Mariah Carey says she is planning to star in her own Broadway musical.

The Glitter star wants to have creative control over the show, which she says will include both new material and songs from 1994 album Merry Christmas.

The 36-year-old told MTV: "I don't want to mention anything definitive until things are signed, but there's a very big company that just signed on to develop the project with me.

"It's probably going to be a movie first. I don't want to say a television movie, because it's not like a cheesy network movie, but then it's going to be made for the Broadway production. So the [TV movie] will set the stage for the stage."
