Katie Holmes, attired in a virginal white deep v-neck dress wearing open toed high heeled pumps, along with 1-year-old daughter Suri Cruise in a pink dress watched David Beckham debut for L.A. Galaxy playing against Chelsea Saturday 21 Jul 2007.

Mother and daughter looked happy, despite the absence of father Tom Cruise who is currently on the sets of his new film Valkyrie in Germany, as they watched the game at the Home Depot Center in Carson sitting in a private box with Victoria Beckham.

David Beckham drew in the crowds and the home depot center was sold out. Thousands of fans sat around in the baking heat just to catch a glimpse of the football superstar. David took to the pitch for only 13 minutes because of a hurt ankle but the fans cheered every time he touched the ball.
